Emerging Poet & Literary Creator
They/Them/Theirs | United StatesI am Zxyrix̣ Williams, a teenage emerging poet and literary creator. My literary interests encompass a wide range of subjects, including life, mental and physical health, personal experiences, and of the 2SLGBTQIA+ experience.
I write about the complicated, the uncomfortable, the misunderstood, the painful, and the subjects that are too frequently overlooked or unrepresented. I want to use my writing not only as a means of creative expression, but also as a platform for advocacy, awareness, and representation.
My goal is to spread awareness, give others a voice, and encourage meaningful conversations centered around the battles that are seen and unseen.Life Etched in Lead.

My Writing Journey
My Writing JourneyThe Beginning | Elementary SchoolMy relationship with writing began long before I considered myself a poet. During elementary school, I would write simply for the enjoyment of it, filling the pages of a diary with little pieces of writing, thoughts, and whatever came to mind.Unfortunately, my handwriting is practically indecipherable, and much of what I wrote during those years is now impossible to uncover.Finding My Voice | Middle SchoolSixth grade marked a significant turning point in my writing journey. At the time, I was navigating an incredibly difficult period in my life, both mentally and physically. I found myself turning to poetry as a way to articulate emotions, experiences, fears, and pain that I otherwise struggled to put into words.Poetry became somewhere I could place the things I was carrying, somewhere I could express what I couldn't necessarily communicate aloud. It was what quite literally saved my life.Middle school was also when I began understanding more about my identity. I initially came out as lesbian, then to discover that sapphic was a more fitting description of my sexuality. Like my writing, my understanding of myself continued to evolve as I learned more about the language available to describe my experiences.A Change of Direction | Eighth GradeEighth grade brought another significant change. Following the experiences I had at my previous school, I transferred to a different school. With that transition came an opportunity for change. I began receiving the help and support I needed, and my relationship with writing blossomed.Poetry was no longer something I relied upon. It had developed into something I could pursue through creativity, curiosity, and self-expression.Finding My Place | High SchoolHigh school introduced another chapter of personal and literary development.During my freshman year, I came out as gender non-conforming (GNC). However, there were other aspects of my identity that I continued keeping private. I remained closeted regarding my Neutrois and Aporagender identities until the summer of 2026, when I began expressing those parts of myself more openly.High school was also when I began establishing an online presence and sharing my writing beyond myself. I started participating in literary communities, publishing my poetry, and allowing others to experience the words I had once kept largely to myself.I began exploring what it meant to be an emerging poet and literary creator, developing my voice, expanding my interests, and considering what I wanted my writing to represent.Where I Stand TodayToday I am building up my community, supporting other writers, building a server, and spread Awareness.I don't consider my journey finished, whether as an individual or as a literary creator. There is still so much to learn, write, experience, and discover.Whether you're a writer stopping by, a supporter of my work, someone searching for words to express what your life, or simply a curious visitor, there is a place for you here. You are welcome to explore, read, reflect, discover, and connect. Whether my words resonate with you, introduce you to a different perspective, or simply give you something to think about, I hope you find something meaningful within the pages.Life Etched in Lead.
